Astro Bot

And as a third entry into the “Forza has no limits” showcase……

I really enjoyed the Astro Bot game… so I had to create something for it… something unique…. so I gave Astro Bot a Forza Horizon Racesuit … And then recreated a part of the games cover art (poster)….

F1 – Max Verstappen – Oracle Red Bull Racing – livery for Forza Horizon 5

I’ve been following the F1 races since last year… really been enjoying it and thought i’d create a livery celebrating Max Verstappen’s second World Championship… searched for some cool images and came across a poster on the F1 official store which i loved the look of!

So i started to recreate the image …

basic layout
first bits of details added
love how the letters look like they’re rolling out of sight 🙂
the nose was fun to do, really fun to try and create the highlighted look
wheel details took up a lot of layers!
nearly completed image (some small tweaks were needed)

When I was done recreating the image I decided to flip the image and then flip all the logo’s to be displayed correctly on the left side of the car it would go on….

and after playing around a little bit, I had a couple car designs to share…

But I was also creating a livery for the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe…..

And it needed an extra image for the hood/bonnet, Max had just won the Mexican GP and there were some cool photo’s of him with his golden helmet on …. so……

started with the basic shape again but also added the logo’s where I could….
also recreated the circuits for Zandvoort (NLD) and the Red Bull Ring (AUT)
adding gradients is so rewarding!! 😀
and this is where I ended up 🙂

This has been a passion project for me. Trying to make the design perfect before releasing it… And I think it shows 🙂

3 weeks I’ve worked on this design recreating most logo’s from scratch… (already had the red bull logo made 🙂 ) and building the main images.

I hope you all enjoy this design as much as I enjoyed creating it!
